The selected vendor or vendors will be required to provide the following for parents of children participating in the program: Complete mental health and substance abuse assessments for adults Develop individual treatment plans Monitor progress and treatment plan as needed. Provide one-on-one counseling and group therapy sessions focusing on recovery and relapse prevention. Provide education to parents on the effects of substance use on family dynamics and child development. Work in collaboration with Gaston County DHHS social workers, and visitation center therapists and case managers, while following HIPA guidelines. Individuals and Organizations receiving federal funds must ensure compliance with certain certifications required by federal laws and regulations. The Vendor is hereby complying with Certifications regarding Nondiscrimination, Drug-Free Workplace Requirements, Environmental Tobacco Smoke, Debarment, Suspension, Ineligibility and Voluntary Exclusion Lower Tier Covered Transactions, and Lobbying. These assurances and certifications are to be signed by the vendor’s authorized representative.
