Johnston County Public Schools (JCPS) is seeking proposals for virtual courseware services for students in grades K-12, designed for both virtual academies and high school credit recovery/initial credit, that offer an extensive range of interactive learning materials and resources tailored to individualized education needs. Through engaging multimedia presentations, interactive simulations, and self-paced modules, students can delve into various subjects, reinforcing their understanding and mastery of key concepts aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. The desired platform provides comprehensive curriculum coverage, allowing students to progress at their own pace while receiving real-time feedback and support from virtual instructors. The ideal platform would serve two specific needs: ● Provide enhancement courses with asynchronous instruction (Health, Physical Education, Art, Music, Career and Technical Courses, among others) to approximately 400 students enrolled in our K-12 virtual academy. ● Provide customizable course content for core and enhancement courses for high school students who need credit recovery and initial credit opportunities. The course content should reside within a platform, but should also allow for integration with our learning management system - Canvas LMS - for teachers who wish to import content into their courses. JCPS uses 100% Chromebooks for student access and is a Google for Education district. We also use ClassLink for Single-Sign-On. It is expected that products must be compatible with Chromebooks and have an active integration with ClassLink for full consideration. In order to evaluate responses, please include instructions and login information to a demo account that has full course access to K-12 instructional courses so they may be inspected for alignment with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study as well as our High School Course Catalog. Please include 1-year and 3-year (paid annually) pricing options.
