The intent of this RFP is to seek out a vendor to provide window tinting to Raleigh Police vehicles. An estimated minimum of 50 vehicles shall require tinting per year. The vehicles being tinted shall be in different styles, makes, and models. This includes, but is not limited to, sport utility vehicles (SUVs), pickup trucks, and sedans. Pricing shall be provided for all windows with the exception of the front windshield. Pricing shall be provided for tinting of the front windshield that measures from the roof line to the AS-1 line and across the entire windshield. These services shall include color dyed and nano ceramic tinting pricing. The vendor shall provide a complete list of available services through their company. The vendor shall provide a “turn around” time for window tinting. The vendor shall provide a single point of contact for any services, repairs and account management. The tinting fees shall be fixed for the entire term of the contract. The vendor shall certify that neither the vendor nor its agents, servants, or employees will disclose to anyone not employed by the vendor, the identity of any vehicle’s ownership or relationship to the Raleigh Police Department. Preference shall be given based on the proximity of the vendor to the Raleigh city limits.
