The Town is seeking qualified vendors to perform valve insertions, line stops, and hot tapping on pressurized water and sewer forcemains for both planned and emergency projects. Pipe Materials: • Ductile Iron • PVC • Cast Iron • Reinforced Concrete Pipe Sizes: • Up to 48 inches in diameter; Responsibilities: • Vendor will provide equipment, materials, and programs to meet all applicable OSHA requirements for a safe work environment. Vendor Requirements: • Prospective vendors must demonstrate proven experience in supporting emergency response services. Town or Town’s contractor will be responsible for making the excavation to specified dimensions, clean the pipe, provide lifting equipment, and backfill trench. All work must be performed in accordance with Town of Mooresville Land Development Standards and generally accepted industry practices.
