Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Charlotte has conducted a comprehensive review of its existing Video Management Systems (VMS) and future needs. In conjunction with Genetec and City Innovation &Technology, the program stakeholders have made initial decisions regarding architecture for the replacement and upgrade of existing Video Management systems to the desired future state. The City shall work with the selected Companies to perform the following tasks, at a minimum: • Video and access control configuration architecture design and consulting. • Client, server, storage, network, and security implementation and configuration in partnership with City resources utilizing Genetec best practices. • Migration from existing VMS and access control systems to Genetec. • Migration of existing digital and analog cameras/video assets into the new Genetec solution. • Migration of selected existing access control infrastructures into the Genetec solution. • Integration with other vendors working on associated projects such as: Replacement of the management solution controlling the Real Time Crime Center and Command Center video walls by Activu. Integration of video analytic solutions. • Integration with other third-party solutions within the City that are not in-scope for replacement, including, but not limited to: Alastar; NDI Recognition Systems License Plate Reader solution; and Centracs Signal Software. • Integration with external partners in the public, private, and non-profit sectors through direct client access or federation. • Complete Genetec software configuration based on City and departmental defined needs and processes. The successful Company shall work with the City to complete a configuration plan that adheres to best practices, maximizes Genetec capabilities, and satisfies departmental needs. • Database implementation and configuration in partnership with the City. • Knowledge transfer to I&T, Departmental IT teams, solution administrators, and other relevant City staff. • On-going support and maintenance for the system as implemented.
