Brunswick County is requesting qualifications statements from qualified engineering firms for engineering, design, and surveying services for engineering and design of a new 3.9-acre laydown and storage yard located at the Brunswick County Public Utilities Operations Center (“U.O.C.”). The overall goal of the project is to develop a previously undeveloped area directly adjacent to the U.O.C. The newly developed area will include an access roadway, open storage areas, a stormwater retention pond, and access gates. The surface of the new laydown yard will be constructed with compacted stone with a geotextile underlayment. Services will include, but not be limited to, professional engineering, design, drafting, consulting, surveying, and geotechnical as required.
