Specifications include, but are not limited to: Generally, the security officer will be assigned to a gate location to check, identify and permit access to a port location and provide random searches of vehicles attempting to enter the port locations. Vendor shall complete the following tasks: The awarded Vendor shall provide the required security officer services as needed by the NCSPA Chief of Police based on the following schedule (schedule is subject to change). MHC 213 hours per week and POW 368 hours per week, POW Maritime Building 40 hours per week SITE 1 PORT OF MOREHEAD CITY: Gate access coverage by a security officer 24 hours a day, seven days per week in addition to security officer coverage 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday – Friday. One security officer on duty 24/7 and one additional security officer on duty 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday. The exception to the second security officer may be security officer service may not be needed on Holidays. Service hours on holidays will be determined by the Port Chief of Police. MHC Security Officers do not weigh trucks. Schedule: One (1) Security Officer 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. One (1) Security Officer 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. One (1) Security Officer 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. SITE 2: PORT OF WILMINGTON: Includes three areas requiring two gates associated with the Port of Wilmington, North Gate and South Gate. Security Officers at the South Gate will be providing gate access and inspections will be responsible for to monitoring the CCTV and other security and alarm systems. North Gate: Gate access coverage by one (1) security officers Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm. Schedule: One (1) Security Officers 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. South Gate: Gate access coverage by a security officer 24 hours per day seven days per week with an additional security officer coverage Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.
