Specifications include, but are not limited to:The offeror shall provide the following services: A. The offeror shall provide armed uniformed security coverage, consisting of one security officer to be provided 8 hours per day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding 1 hour for lunch break and excluding State Holidays for the Department of Public Safety (Department) building and site located at 2020 Yonkers Rd. Raleigh, N.C. The offeror shall provide security surveillance for inside the building, primarily at the front door entrance, door #1 and monitoring of video cameras which monitor the parking lot areas, exterior doors and loading dock. The security officer shall take all steps necessary to safeguard all property (real and personal) from loss, damage, destruction or unauthorized entry. B. The offeror shall be bonded or insured to provide security services of the type described in this RFP. C. The offeror shall possess and maintain any and all required North Carolina licenses and registrations for the security officers to be furnished. D. Prior to commencement of this contract, the offeror shall develop and deliver to the DPS Facility Manager a set of “post orders” for security personnel as related to the needs of the Department and physical characteristics of the facility. The Department shall have final approval of post orders associated with this facility. These post orders will become an addendum to this Agreement
