Specifications include, but are not limited to: Frequency: o Fertilization: Four (4) times per year for the Bermuda (approx. 1 lb N/M each application). o Lime: Applied at a rate of 1 ton per acre. o Herbicide: Based upon one (1) pre-emergent application (two – if split applications are done) using unit price options at label rates and two (2) post-emergent applications if needed. o Insecticide: FOR ARMY WORMS: One (1) application as needed. o Aerification: Two (2) times per year (preferably May and July). Done by unit pricing in varying methods. o Topdressing: One (1) time per year to coincide with one of the aerifications and to be applied at a rate of 50 cubic yards per acre (sand purchased by county). o Soil Testing: Shall be done at least every three (3) years, more often if needed. • Irrigation Maintenance program shall include the following list of sites as described in Exhibit B. Pricing Worksheet and Exhibit H. Mecklenburg County Athletic Fields in Total: o Basic repairs (e.g. replacing nozzles, repairing small leaks, etc.) performed as requested and completed within 48 hours. o Major repairs or alterations to the system as requested. • Site inspections and programming of controllers as described in Exhibit B. Pricing Worksheet and Exhibit H. Mecklenburg County Athletic Fields in Total: o *Minimum of one (1) visit per month at each site. o Winterization and de-winterization of all systems. o Full management of all systems to include all the above.
