Specifications include, but are not limited to: services related to the administration and integration (Into Ellucian Banner 8.10 ERP) of a tuition and fees payment plan for Appalachian State University. a. “Integration into Ellucian Banner” - for purposes of this RFP will be defined as a 1-way communication where transactions through the 3rd party are capable of being transmitted and posted into Banner in real-time. Additionally at the discretion of the supplier, 2-way communication (where transactions through the 3rd party are capable of being transmitted and posted into Banner in real-time, as well as the 3rd party being capable to pull real-time data such as balance from Banner and is viewable on the 3rd party website login for client, student/parent). b. Must Offer at a minimum 1 way Banner Integration (Proposals will be accepted for 2-way as well) c. Must Offer a 5 pay for Fall Semester and 5 pay for Spring, as well as a combined 10 pay encompassing the costs for total of Fall+Spring d. Must have option for ASU to decide whether to pass on Credit Card Charges, paid by ASU, to clients (student/parent). e. Must explain in detail Integration plan involving ASU IT department f. Must explain in detail 3rd Party’s Security after due to integration with Banner g. Supplier Must offer a revenue share option to be retained by ASU and outline cost breakdown in proposal (revenue share for this document is defined as “a set additional amount added to the provider charge for each type of plan that combined with the 3rd party charge equals the total amount charged per plan to the student/parent.) Client pays enrollment fee and any late fees.
