Specifications include, but are not limited to: endor shall: a. Collect, transport, and dispose of required services for one (1) site location, Jacob Fork Area at South Mountains State Park. b. Provide three (3) 8 cubic yard animal proof dumpsters (trash only) with a plastic lid that opens on top and sliding doors on the side for one (1) site, Jacob Fork Area. The dates of service are. i. April 1 – October 31 – pick-up once per week. ii. November 1 – March 31 – pick-up every other week. c. Provide one (1) 8 cubic yard cardboard only recycling dumpster for one (1) site location, Jacob Fort Area at South Mountains State Park. The dates of service are: i. January 1 – December 31 – pick-up once per month. d. Provide for bid evaluation purposes on Attachment A, pricing for optional services. Vendor shall provide pricing for the following services that the Department may or may not choose to award: i. Provide one (1) 4 cubic yard single-stream recycling container for one (1) site location, Jacob Fork Area at South Mountains State Park. The dates of service are January 1 – December 31 with pickup once per month. ii. Additional dumpster. iii. Pick-ups outside of normal schedule. e. Provide, deliver, off-load and service each dumpster. The Contract Administrator will determine the location of the dumpsters. This location cannot be changed by the Contractor without prior approval from the Contract Administrator. f. Provide dumpsters that are dark green, dark brown or grey. These are the only acceptable colors. Dumpsters must have and be kept in a well-maintained appearance. g. Provide containers that are rodent-proof, animal-proof, wind-proof, leak-proof and rust-proof. h. Repair and maintain containers in good working order and appearance. Good working order and appearance includes containers that do not leak and/or rust. i. Provide a replacement container at no additional cost to the Department if the Contract Administrator determines container is unsightly, damaged or unusable. Contractor must repair or replace damaged dumpster within 48 hours of notification by the Contract Administrator. j. Properly remove solid waste and dispose in a State approved sanitary landfill. The removal must occur during regular business hours, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The State Park is closed on Christmas Day. k. Communicate with the Park Superintendent upon arrival before beginning work under this Contract. l. Contact the Park Superintendent to schedule pick-up. Contractor shall notify the Contract Administrator by phone with a vital reason if the Contractor will be tardy or miss a pick-up. m. Furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies and materials to perform the services of waste removal and recycling services in a professional manner that is satisfactory to the Department.
