Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (hereinafter “Department”), on behalf of Lake James State Park (hereinafter “Park”), requires a qualified Vendor to provide delivery, pick-up, and servicing for trash and stream-line recycling for Lake James State park on as needed basis. The Park is located at 2229 Lake James State Park Road, Nebo, North Carolina 28761. Nebo, North Carolina is located between McDowell and Burke counties. Provide service for four (4) 8 cubic yard animal-proof dumpsters for trash only for Site 1, Paddy’s Creek Main. Provide lease for four (4) 8 cubic yard animal proof dumpsters with a plastic lid that opens on top and sliding doors on the side. Provide one (1) 30-cubic yard streamline, animal proof recycling dumpster for Site 1, Paddy’s Creek Main. Provide one (1) 8 cubic yard animal proof dumpster with a plastic lid that opens on top and has sliding doors on the side for trash only for Site 2, Paddy’s Creek Campground. Provide one (1) 8 cubic yard animal proof dumpster with a plastic lid that opens on top and sliding doors on the side for trash only for Site 3, Catawba River Campground. Provide, deliver, off-load and service each dumpster. The Department Contract Manager will determine the location of the dumpsters. This location cannot be changed by the Vendor without prior approval from the Department Contract Administrator. Provide animal- proof dumpsters that are dark green, dark brown or grey. These are the only acceptable colors. Dumpsters must have and sustain a well-maintained appearance. Provide dumpsters in good working order which includes dumpsters that do not leak and/or rust. Provide a replacement dumpster at no additional cost to the Department if the Department Contract Manager determines one or more containers are unsightly, damaged, or unusable. The Vendor must repair or replace damaged containers within 48 hours of notification by the Department Contract Administrator. Properly remove solid waste and dispose of it in a State approved sanitary landfill. The removal must occur during regular business hours, 8:00 AM ET to 4:30 PM ET. The Park is closed on Christmas Day. Furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials to perform the work.
