Specifications include, but are not limited to: police/security firms experienced in providing police/security services in the public sector, preferably in public transit, including Sworn Company Police, Security Guards with Tasers, and Certified Dispatchers (“Company Police/Security Personnel”). This work will be contracted in part or in whole depending on the proposals received by CATS. If contracted in part, CATS will award a contract for Sworn Company Police, Security Guards with Tasers, and Certified Dispatchers. The other contract will be for Unarmed Security Guards (“Security Guards”) only to City certified or registered MWSBE firms. If contracted in part, CATS expects both Companies to work in tangent with each other and ensure staff from both Companies are supported by the resources, requirements, rules, regulations, and laws that ensures proper police and security services contracted to CATS by both Companies. Both Companies will allow access to and share resources to ensure a cohesive police/security force is protecting CATS staff, riders, general public, facilities, and infrastructure. The contracted Company that will provide Company Police, Security Guards with Tasers and Certified Dispatchers will ensure the company contracted to provide Unarmed Security Guards will be able to communicate via radio and telephone with Police Dispatch and all other security forces contracted with CATS. Police Dispatch will be expected to communicate and support ALL security personnel and security guards on contract with CATS regardless of the company they work for
