Specifications include, but are not limited to: Ashe County School District is seeking to adopt a comprehensive K-8 English Language Arts curriculum for our three elementary schools and one middle school. The goal in this adoption cycle is to provide up-to-date Science of Reading aligned materials that build students’ core knowledge. The materials must be researched based, relevant and appropriate for developmental levels. The materials must effectively support teaching and learning practices in our K-8 ELA classrooms that also offer teachers and students access to relevant digital resources/tools. However, we do desire a balance between digital and hard-copy materials. Ashe County Schools reserves the right to reject all proposals. The Ashe County School district further reserves the right to make the contract award deemed by the Ashe County Board of Education and the selection committee based on evaluation and scoring.
