• Perform a preliminary survey of the entire western side of the park starting at the parking lot where future facility will be located. (See Exhibit A) • Complete a comprehensive design plan set that includes geotechnical findings, clearing, grading, drainage, erosion control, site layout, and any needed construction details (AutoCAD format) for the tennis courts facility. • Development of a project schedule. • Construct a new tennis courts facility consisting of the following items: ▫ (3) tennis courts per USTA standards (See Exhibit A “Schematic Plan”) (final product should match the Town’s Chestnut Park tennis court facility) (see Exhibit B – Old Design Plans) ▫ 10.0-foot-high black vinyl fencing with blue shaded slots ▫ Work done per US Tennis Court and Track Builders Association (USTC&TBA guide specifications). Installer/Contractor shall have a minimum of three (3) years of experience. ▫ All other appurtenances such as netting, center strap, net posts shall adhere to USTA standards. • Install Tennis Court lighting system (See Exhibit E) • Install concrete pad (40’ x 28’), 6-inches thick at location designated on schematic drawing (See Exhibit A). Concrete joints per ACI’s specifications. • Install Shade Play Max HIP Shade with vertical poles at 40’ x 28’ concrete pad per BCI Burke Co.’s manufacturer’s specifications (See Exhibit C). NOTE: Shade Play cover has already been purchased and stored by Town. • Supplemental clearing for future disc golf course on east side of park property. (limits will be defined by staff in the field and acreage stated in bid line item) Clearing will be all trees less than two feet in diameter. (See Exhibit D) • Resurface eight (8) pickleball courts at the existing tennis court facility location at Chestnut Square Park. Work will consist of removing existing (3) tennis net systems and filling in PVC sleeves with flowable fill, resurface/stripe new pickleball court layout (see Exhibit G), install necessary surfaced mounted netting per Pickleball USA standards, install surface mounted 4.0-foot-tall black powder coated chain link fencing per layout (see Exhibit F), • Present required design and product submittals for review to all controlling agencies (Union County issues building permits) • Payment and Performance Bonds will be required for the construction portion of the project. • Construction administration and observation that includes a bi-weekly meeting onsite • Project closeout documents: ▫ Warranties and guarantees ▫ Final survey as-built (AutoCAD format) ▫ Final Closeout Certification Letter from Contractor
