Specifications include, but are not limited to:Professional Technician I, II, & IIIPositions in these categories primarily maintain, oversee, and report financial accounting data, in addition to other administrative professional functions. Staff may be responsible for, but not limited to, accounts receivable/payable and may also require specialized fiscal knowledge, such as payroll, contract/grants, or other closely related accounting services. Positions have delegated responsibility to analyze data for accuracy, reconcile data and information, problem-solve, and interpret regulations. Contractor must ensure that all candidates provided are capable of proper handling of personal information, sensitive accounting information, or any other sensitive information ensuring the non-disclosure of confidential information. COMPETENCY LEVELS: Technician I: Technical: Working knowledge of accounting methods, procedures, and practices along with familiarity of accounting and other software (e.g. ERP systems, Excel, Word, Access). Financial Program Monitoring and Management: Ability to maintain and report routine financial data in standardized formats while following established methods and procedures Communications: Ability to follow oral and written guidelines, and summarize and report information Problem Solving: Ability to identify and correct routine and recurring financial problems, referring extraordinary problems to a higher level.
