Forsyth County Parks & Recreation is seeking a qualified company for providing traffic control service for it’s Festival of Lights show within Tanglewood Park. The Tanglewood Park Festival of Lights located at 4061 Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC 27012 is an annual drive-through holiday light show presented by Forsyth County Parks & Recreation. Attracting approximately 50,000 vehicles each season, the event operates nightly from mid-November through New Year’s Day. Show hours are from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, but all cars needs to be admitted that are still in line at 11:00pm. All traffic control personnel are required on-site from 4:30 PM until the conclusion of operations. On high-traffic evenings, the event may remain open as late as 2:00 AM. The contracted service provider is expected to deliver exceptional customer service to all attendees while ensuring efficient and safe traffic flow throughout the designated areas of the light show. Additionally, showing familiarity with the traffic control patterns established by Forsyth County Parks & Recreation management is essential.
