Specifications include, but are not limited to: Replace the existing Physical Access Control System located at Port facilities in Wilmington, NC and Morehead City, NC and expand the system to include the port operated Inland Terminal operations building and personnel gate located at the port operated Charlotte Inland Terminal in Charlotte, NC. The project includes full life cycle support (design, installation, configuration, training, warranty, maintenance) of the new system, and decommissioning the existing system. The new system will include TWIC compliant card readers and biometric capabilities and integration with the terminal operating system, Navis N4, per the RFQ technical specifications as detailed in Section 281300 – Summary, and Section 281300 Attachment 1 - Physical Access Control System (PACS) Technical Specifications. Low voltage wiring, minimal 120VAC wiring, and software installation and configuration are also included in the scope.
