To provide new water mains for surrounding areas in the vicinity of the existing GFL Landfill, located in West Sampson County. The total length for the project is 88,200 linear feet (17 miles) of 8, 6, and 4-inch water mains including all tees, valves, and other fittings. Installation will include PVC pipe by open cut, HDPE pipe by directional drill, DI pipe by directional bore, and steel and DI pipe by bore and jack under NCDOT roadways and will include all erosion control devices and asphalt repairs as required. The following roads are included: South Salemburg Highway (NC-242) (5,620 linear feet of 6-inch line and 2,100 linear feet of 8-inch line), Lakewood School Road (9,000 linear feet of 6-inch line and 1,600 linear feet of 8-inch line), Bubba Gump Lane (1,770 linear feet of 4-inch line), Laurel Lake Road (3,110 linear feet of 6-inch line), White Woods Road (16,080 linear feet of 6-inch line), Marion-Amos Road (5,410 linear feet of 6-inch line and 560 linear feet of 8-inch line), Fleet Cooper Road (18,970 linear feet of 6-inch line and 1,700 linear feet of 8-inch line), The Ave (18,200 linear feet of 6-inch line and 3,500 linear feet of 8-inch line), and Bonnetsville Road (190 linear feet of 6- inch line and 330 linear feet of 8-inch line).
