Fire Alarm & Emergency Systems – Ensuring alarms and strobe lights are at appropriate heights for younger students. 5. Controlled Access Entry – Adjusting security measures to align with elementary school standards, including any necessary door access controls. 6. Handrail Modifications – Review existing conditions to confirm there is a need to install or lower handrails on staircases for smaller hands. 7. Lockers – Some lockers have damaged hardware and can be hazardous. 8. ADA Compliance – Ensuring ramps and entrances are accessible to young students with mobility challenges.
