DVR Specifications School Buses - Connectivity for at least 5 wide-angle cameras with audio. Capability of utilizing a Solid State Drive, a SD Card, or a combination of SSD/SD Card for recording video. User configurable vehicle sensors i.e. Event Marker, Stop Arm, Door Open/Close, and Amber/Red 8 way lights. Passive GPS integration for video recording and incident review. Wi-Fi capabilities for integration with Johnston County Public Schools Department of Information Technology’s wireless network and pre-installed Kajeet modem/router. Standardized new installation kits should include DVR with power cabling, Event Marker with cabling, 5 or more Cameras with cabling, Wi-Fi Antenna with ethernet cable, and Vehicle Sensor input cable. DVR should be able to be mounted both vertically and horizontally in overhead compartments. DVR should have an integrated battery cutoff timer to isolate the Camera system from vehicle batteries after a set period of time of the Vehicle Ignition being turned off. DVR Wi-Fi system should be able to be configured for automated email notification of alerts. Alerts can include malfunctions along with notifications of downloaded video. DVR should begin recording once the Vehicle is started, have a User Configurable Delay Shutdown Timer once the Vehicle Ignition is off, and have a User configurable Standby Time to allow for video download over a wireless network.
