Purpose of this bid is for repairs to the Patton Mountain Pump Station owned by The City of Asheville Water Department due to a truck wreck on 12/19/2024. The City of Asheville is seeking bids to repair the electrical service equipment, fencing, access hatch, and grounds/landscaping damaged when a tri-axle truck pulling a trailer hauling a trackhoe overturned onto Patton Mountain Pump Station . Restore Grounds and Replace Vault Hatch ● Remove all damaged trees, debris, and trash inside and around the fenced in area ● Restore grounds around the pump station site and over the pump station vault (3” of pea gravel) ● Replant 5, 4-5 foot Green Giant Arborvitaes trees by the generator and propane tank outside the fence and grass in the open areas outside the fence. ● Replace damaged access hatch ( 30x54 inside dimensions ) (manufactured for EFI by the Bilco company Model MNB - 50 size 2’6” x 4’6”) (PDF Attached) and vent ( 4” PVC ) to the underground vault damaged during the accident.
