The Town of Wrightsville Beach is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering firms to provide professional services for the design of multiple street end headwalls throughout the Town. This RFQ is being issued in accordance with applicable state and local procurement statutes to ensure a fair and transparent selection process. The selected engineering firm will be responsible for providing the following services: Engineering Design & Structural Analysis – Development of construction plans and specifications for replacement or reinforcement of the identified headwalls. Surveying & Geotechnical Investigations – Site evaluations as necessary to support design development. Regulatory Permitting – Coordination with relevant agencies, including NCDEQ, USACE, and CAMA, to ensure full regulatory compliance. Long‐Term Maintenance Considerations – Design recommendations that optimize the Town’s ability to maintain and manage these structures over time. Cost Estimation & Phasing Recommendations – Preparation of cost estimates and prioritization options if needed. Procurement & Construction Support – Assistance with bid package preparation and contractor selection, if applicable.
