Vendor shall provide mobile shoe on-site service at least twice (2x) per year in locations throughout NCDOT’s 100 counties for issuing new or replacement safety toe shoes to NCDOT employees. Each Vendor shall visit designated sites at the request of the division. It will be at the discretion of division personnel to determine need and availability. The Vendor shall be available for at least one (1) “call back” visit, within one (1) month of the primary visit, at each location, as requested by the unit contact person. The Vendor shall coordinate scheduling with the unit contact person named at each location. The mobile unit staff must be fully trained and qualified in the fitting and selection of safety footwear. NCDOT will provide, at each location, a 110V standard electrical power connection for the mobile unit. The purpose of the callback visit is to provide shoes for employees who could not attend the primary visit, to take or fulfill special orders, and to address any issues employees may have with purchased or ordered shoes. Vendor shall provide a list of shoe store locations that includes street address and County, provide examples of invoicing details, sales receipts, and purchase transaction reports, provide a description of the shoe return process for mobile shoe truck and for proposed Planogram of truck identifying section one table one (1) requirements, return policy for defective products. All Shoes provided on site (Mobile Unit)should encompassthe requirements below: • A minimum selection of eight (8) different styles for men and 8 different styles for women of safety toe shoes. • A minimum selection of six (6) different styles for men and 6 different styles for women of safety toe shoes with metatarsal guard protection. • A minimum selection of half sizes six (6) through 26 in widths A through EEEE for each men’s style offered. • A minimum selection of halfsizes six (6) through 16 in widths A through EEEE for each women’s style offered. • An assortment of shoes for purchase that shall be acceptable, in terms of size, fit, style, and comfort, to 75% of the employees at each location. • At least 75% ofshoes offered shall be priced at or below the state safety toe shoe reimbursement rate. • Allshoes offered have puncture resistantsoles. • At least 33% of shoes offered shall be waterproof.
