GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES Study the routine operations as required to achieve a thorough understanding of the operations of the department. Identify and determine, for each operational element, a set of specific space needs for both current and future (15-20 years) operations. Determine the interaction/adjacency priorities of the operational elements Discuss other program requirements for the department. This should include security, access to the public, etc. Develop overall space summary. Develop preliminary renovation/expansion design options maximize effective use of the current facility property. Identify, compare and contrast these options to cost (square foot basis) of a new or secondary facility as an alternative to expansion and/or future phase. Provide comprehensive development budgets to include estimated costs for design fees, construction, equipment, security, and furnishings. Develop an implementation schedule.
