The awarded firm shall provide services, all as set forth in this RFQ and more particularly described in this Section 4. The scope of services described below is not comprehensive and additional services may be required. The selected firm will receive additional information about the project from which to further define the scope of work to be included in their proposal. The City utilizes Trimble Unity Construct© (TUC) for comprehensive project management. The City currently holds an enterprise license. The selected consultant shall use TUC for hosting contract documents including, but not limited, correspondence, schedules, plans, and specification, and for construction administration (i.e., RFIs, submittals, progress reports, meeting minutes, pay applications, construction schedules, etc.). The project phases may include master planning, programming, pre-design and budget development, design development phases, permitting, traditional bid-build construction delivery method, construction administration, and one-year warranty administration. Proposers must prove the capability to provide the necessary experience, technical and administrative skills, and workforce capacity for directing and managing a multi-disciplinary team approach to project delivery. Design services for the Solid Waste Services Renovations shall meet the operational and programming needs and shall be designed to maximize utilization of the site and facilities. Priorities for the Solid Waste Services Department include: • Increased workstations, training areas, and office space for staff o Renovations of current office space to include private offices. o Increase area for staff workstations. • Cart Storage o Storage for 4,000 carts with room for expansion. o Storage for maintenance operations. o Loading and unloading area for carts and equipment. • Vehicle Pre-inspection Station o Covered work bays for vehicle inspection and preventative maintenance. o Workbench and Toolbox area. o Change to paved area for better vehicle workflow.
