Specifications include, but are not limited to: • All work is to be performed with the utmost concern for the safety of Service Providers personnel, the University’s Students, Staff, Faculty, Visitors, general public and all property. • Service Provider work should support and must never interfere with the normal operations of the University • Pretreatment of all parking lots and sidewalks within zones should be applied at identified times before each event. • Protect the property of the University to include lawn, edging, irrigation, etc… Before storm visit your zone and identify speed bump, curbs, etc.. to ensure the least amount of damage. • Ensure to push snow toward drains and to the lowest point of parking lots. Avoid pilling up in reserved parking spaces. Project manager will identify these recommended areas. • Ensure not to block access to walks, parked cars, doors, etc.. • Ice melt will be disbursed using a spreader and no clumps of ice melt will be left on walks. (This causes concrete damage.) • Brick pavers and new concrete should be treated with care. • Service Provider must arrive at each location at times allocated by project manager. Provider should be adequately supplied with materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform Snow/Ice Removal Services. Should be available 24 hours when a storm has been identified for this area. • Equipment must be in good working order and fit for the purpose to execute services outlined herein. Failed equipment should be reported to Project Manager immediately so other actions can be taken to ensure snow and ice issues will be addressed in a timely manner. • If Service Provider is granted permission from University to store tools and/or equipment on the University’s Property the University will retain no responsibility for loss of any kind, by any means to Service Provider’s equipment, tools, materials, etc… • Any tools or equipment that the University may deem unsuitable must be removed from the Premises and replaced with suitable equipment with 24hrs of notification by the University.
