Specifications include, but are not limited to: Five (5) multi-axle dump trucks, with operators, equipped with 12.0-ft. snowplow, and 10.0 cubic yard (minimum truck capacity) material spreader. (Spreaders with tanks that allow the application of liquid chemicals either at the spinner or directly to the roadway are not required.) Besides the 5 trucks requested for bidding purposes, the Contractor is to provide to the NCDOT the total number of trucks with operators, as described above, that they would have available to perform snowplowing activities. This information is to be included on the attached Bid form. The contractor shall provide the Model, Year and VIN number for all available trucks. This information is to be provided within 14 days after acceptance of bid.
