Specifications include, but are not limited to: Snow removal shall consist of pushing all snow off the surfaces of designated areas defined in this specification. Application of melting or traction agents (Magnesium Chloride/ Mag Based Ice Melt) shall involve the even distribution of those agents across the same surfaces being plowed or cleared. Areas to be plowed and or cleared include all paved parking, sidewalks, walkways, and steps. Snow is to be plowed to an area designated by the College. The removal of the snow piles with be at the request of the College and not required on every plowing occasion. The Contractor shall not pile snow near loading docks, trash collection bins, fire hydrants, handicap parking, or in front of entranceways.
