Wilson County Schools (WCS) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to upgrade the existing security camera systems at four school campuses during the 2025-2026 school year. The goal of this project is to replace outdated camera infrastructure with a modern, digital video surveillance solution that supports enhanced school safety and security measures. WCS is requesting comprehensive proposals for the design, installation, and support of new security camera systems utilizing Internet Protocol (IP) cameras and a network video recording (NVR) or cloud-based system. The new systems must provide high-definition video quality, secure remote access (mobile and local), reliable data storage (at least 30 days), and scalable system management. Solutions should also align with industry best practices and support the district’s long-term goals for school safety. This project is critical to ensuring a safe learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. We invite vendors with demonstrated experience in school security systems to respond to this RFP with thoughtful, innovative, and cost-effective proposals.
