Site Evaluation and Planning – Quarterly (Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall) • Selected contractor to assess existing planters and pots and prepare a proposed design for Town approval. • Planting design for pots should include an appropriate seasonal mixture of annual flowers. • Planting design for beds should include an appropriate mixture of perennial and seasonal annual flowers. Flower Removal and Disposal - Quarterly (Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall) • Contractor to remove and properly dispose of previous seasons flowers and materials. Flower Installation - Quarterly (Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall) • Contractor to install new annual flowers in accordance with approved planting design, ensuring proper spacing for growth and drainage as necessary per flower selection. • Contractor to warranty flower installation for each season of installation. Flower Installation – One Time at Contract Start • Contractor to install appropriate perennial flowers in brick raised beds per approved flower planting design. Fertilization and Weed Control – As Needed • Contractor to fertilize and provide weed control in pots and raised beds as needed during seasonal visits. Maintenance Services – As Needed • Contractor to provide necessary pruning and fertilization of perennial flowers, weed control in raised beds, and other maintenance services as needed. • Replace dead or dying plants within reasonable time frame.
