Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals and award a convenience contract to provide and support an E-rate eligible scalable bundled Internet Service to all current and future North Carolina Local EducationAgencies (LEAs), Charter Schools, Regional Schools, Educational Services for the Deaf and Blind Schools(ESDB), and other public schools as the need may arise (individually or collectively, an End User). Currently,all one hundred fifteen (115) LEAs and approximately sixty (60) charter and other public schools leverage thefact that the State pays the associated End User monthly recurring charges. The State files for E-ratediscounts for the scalable bundled Internet Service as a consortium applicant.
