1. The bid should include calibration of each scale every 30 days. Calibration service must be approved under the N.C. Department of Agriculture’s standards. • Be able to calibrate the scales and maintain the electronic displays. • Stock or have access to the parts/load cells for these scales. • Provide rates for the routine calibration and inspection as a flat rate per scale. The rate shall include any charges for mileage and/or travel time for repair work • Provide an hourly flat rate for business hour repairs. The rate shall include any charges for mileage and/or travel time for repair work. • Provide an hourly flat rate for overtime repairs.The rate shall include any charges for mileage and/or travel time for repair work. • Provide an hourly flat rate for weekend/holiday repairs.The rate shall include any charges for mileage and/or travel time for repair work. 2. The bid should cover calibration adjustments, verification of proper working condition of each scale, and any mileage/travel time charges. This work would need to include inspection, calibration, and repair of the scales, replacement of load cells as needed, labor, parts, supplies, and any other items needed. 3. The awarded vendor will need to be able to have routine maintenance scheduled but also to have the flexibility to be called in when we encounter an issue with the scales. 4. The awarded vendor should have adequate staffing and availability to meet the City of Greensboro’s needs.
