Vendor shall design, promote, implement, and evaluate student summer learning immersion experience for students, including: • Secure and pay for facilities to house the summer program. Vendor may elect to follow WCPSS Community Use processes to apply to use WPCSS campuses with cost paid by Vendor. • Recruit local businesses to serve as immersion sites for high school grade students (rising 10th – 12th grade). Additionally, businesses can offer to provide onsite learning experiences such as classroom presentations and/or projects during specified hours of the program. • Provide training for Business partners to create/develop their immersion experiences; facilitated by vendor in partnership with one lead site coordinator (full-time school system staff, hired as summer fellow). • Provide for snacks and meals as appropriate for the daily program, immersions and/or onsite presentations. • Provide for student materials/supplies for the duration of the program. • Serve as point of contact for business pre, during, and post immersion experiences to assist with any ongoing and immediate needs that may arise in relation to immersion experiences. • Provide support, training, and stipend for one teacher to serve as coaches and teachers for the summer experience. • Employ and provide payment for all staff required for the program. All staff will be subject to criminal record checks.
