Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.3.1. Driveway entrances and exits are to be cleared to their full width with no snow piles blocking the visibility to incoming or outgoing traffic. 3.3.2. At all times, ensure free direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic wherever required. Storing of materials, or dumping of snow or ice on sidewalks or in planted areas, is not acceptable. 3.3.3. Snow shall be placed in areas that will prevent melt water from draining back onto cleared surfaces. Stacking of excess snow will be permitted only in areas specified. 3.3.4. No areas are to be cleared within six feet of any parked vehicle. 3.3.5. NO ICE MELT IS TO BE USED unless specifically pre-approved in writing by the City. 3.3.6. Company must have sufficient personnel, equipment and hand tools (ex: shovels) to service all assigned locations simultaneously. 3.3.7. During heavy snow event, additional equipment and crews must be available as required on a caseby-case basis as directed by Project Manager or assignee. 3.3.8. Work on parking decks is to be performed with a skid steer or pickup truck with snow plow blades having plastic or composite moldboards.
