Specifications include, but are not limited to:This contract is for providing five (5) fully operated, multi-axle trucks with operators, equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) with a monitoring software subscription, 12.0-ft. snowplow, and 10.0 cubic yard (minimum truck capacity) material spreader for snow and ice control activities in Cleveland and Gaston County. All work and materials shall be in accordance with the provisions of the General Guidelines of this contract, the Project Special Provisions, the North Carolina Department of Transportation 2012 Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, the North Carolina Department of Transportation Roadway Standard Drawings, and the current edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The Contractor shall keep himself fully informed of all Federal, State and local laws, ordinances, and regulations, and shall comply with the provisions of Section 107 of the Standard Specifications
