The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (hereafter, “Department”), on behalf of the North Carolina Zoo (hereinafter “Zoo”), requires a qualified Vendor to provide inspections, preventive maintenance, and roofing repairs for The North Carolina Zoo. The Zoo has over 500 developed acres and numerous buildings that require preventative maintenance and repairs. The service contract will allow the Zoo to more efficiently maintain these assets. Perform general roof repairs Monday through Friday during Zoo regular business hours . General repairs include routine or preventive maintenance to address minor issues before they become major problems. These repairs are typically non-urgent but important to maintain the roof’s integrity over time. Examples include replacing a few cracked shingles, checking and cleaning gutters, or resealing small areas. The Zoo hours change seasonally: November to March, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and April to October, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Vendor must be available on weekends and after business hours in the event of an unforeseeable emergency that requires roof repairs.
