Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to comply fully with these specifications. B. Mowing is to be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. No mowing will be allowed during rain events, weekends, or holidays. Holidays observed by the City are as follows: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Birthday, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and day after Christmas. If there is a question of conflicts with any City activity occurring in the area and the mowing contractor's schedule, the City activity shall always take precedence. The mowing contractor shall not mow the area to avoid the conflict, but will be required to return as soon as would be appropriate to maintain the listed schedule. C. Mowing of these sites will begin as soon as an award can be determined and a contract is in place and will be mowed on a Bi-Weekly (every other week) schedule, with the exception of one location which will be mowed twice per year. There will be a mandatory ride around review ninety (90) days into the contract to ensure the work is being performed as per the contract. The contractor shall not mow grass to a length of less than 1.5 inches above the ground but grass shall not be higher than four (4) inches in length. Unless stated otherwise in the table shown below, the contractor shall trim around walkways, light posts and other structures located within the fence (including fence line) where mowers cannot reach. There shall be at a minimum of three (3) feet wide area to be cleared and maintained free of debris and vegetation around the outside perimeter of the fences. At no time should limbs and so forth penetrate through the fence at any site. Unless stated below all service roads shall be mowed on each side and down the middle with a path no less than three (3) feet wide. At no time shall there be any weeds, brush or so forth hanging over the mowed area. All shrubs, trees and so forth at all locations shall be kept clean of any invasive plants or weeds.
