1) 29 DVR's with removeable hard drives. a. The DVR should be able to support at least 5 channels of video and audio while also being able to record all 5 channels independently. b. DVR shall support individually setting analog channel resolution up to 1080p and frame rate up to 30 FPS for each independent video channel. c. DVR shall support a configurable option to individually enable or disable each analog audio channel. d. DVR shall support a configurable option to repeat recording that, when enabled, automatically overwrites the oldest recorded data on media with new data. e. DVR shall support a configurable option to automatically delete video and audio data once it has aged beyond a selectable number of user days up to 3 months (90 days) f. DVR shall support a configurable option to delay recording for a period up to 1 hour from system startup. DVR should be configurable to disable recording after expiration of a period up to 1 hour after vehicle ignition turns off. g. DVR shall support configuring infrared settings on supported analog cameras by sending commands from the DVR to the supported analog camera over the video cable h. DVR shall implement a built-in uninterruptable power supply (UPS) capable of bridging a power dip (brownout) condition up to 500ms duration without affecting normal system operation. i. DVR shall implement a built-in uninterruptable power supply (UPS) that detects power loss and saves all data in cache and other temporary memory locations to primary and secondary storage and performs an orderly shutdown of all storage such that no loss of previously written data occurs. j. DVR shall implement primary data storage on 2.5" SATA media supporting capacity up to 2TB mounted inside a portable, media carry cartridge (hard drive). k. DVR shall implement secondary data storage on an SD Card which may be optionally installed in the recorder, and which supports capacities up to 256GB. I. DVR shall require the media carry cartridge be locked into the recorder before initiating recording operation and shall provide a visual indication if the cartridge is either missing or not properly locked. Once locked in place media shall automatically setup, configure and then record. m. DVR shall support media carry cartridge swap between recorders of the same model. n. DVR media carry cartridge shall support connection to a PC or laptop via a docking station. DVR shall support export of a user defined selection of locally stored video data to a USB media mounted to the recorder USB port or to a storage location on a remotely connected PC or laptop. o. DVR shall include local video output where one can hook a remote display monitor designated for maintenance p. DVR shall support a configurable option to enable Automatic Daylight Savings time adjustments where start & end date plus start & end time are both configurable. q. DVR shall include dedicated, externally visible, onboard indicators displaying recorder power status, media status, and error status. r. DVR shall include a built-in GPS receiver and support an optional external GPS receiver of which either can provide time, vehicle position, direction, and speed for recording in synchronization with video. s. DVR shall be shock, vibration, and thermal tested t. DVR shall include three (3) years warranty covering recorder repair parts and associated labor, plus primary storage media. 2) Each DVR will support five cameras that will be installed in various locations on the vehicle. This is to ensure maximum surveillance on the vehicle. 3) The five cameras will include one front-facing dashboard camera and four onboard cameras. a. The camera shall provide a video stream of both1920x1080 pixels (1080p) or 1280x720 (720p). Video streams of lower resolution are not acceptable. b. The camera shall be available in a model with IR illuminators that can be turned ON or OFF. The camera shall have a color image when the IR illuminators are off. When in complete darkness the IR illumination turns on for a bright black and white image, to enable viewing of objects. c. The camera shall have a microphone. d. The camera shall be designed such that all components are self-contained e. The camera must have an adjustable bracket with 360 degree rotate, 360 degree pan and 70 degree tilt in order to produce a vertically erect image, whether the camera is mounted on a horizontal surface, a vertical surface or angled or curved surface. An image that is not vertically erect on all mounting surfaces and mounting angles is not acceptable. f. The camera must be flush mountable to the mounting surface, such that the electrical cable connecting the camera to the recorder remains concealed to prevent tampering with the camera or the video signal g. The camera must have a single positive locking over molded connector for power, video and audio. This connector must not disconnect from the connected wiring harness because of vibration. i. h. The camera shall operate over a temperature range of -4°F to 104°F (-20° C to 40°C) and have an environmental rating of IP64 or better The camera shall have a 3 year warranty
