The selected contractor will provide a fully operational red-light camera system for five intersections, each with one treated approach. The system must include cameras capable of detecting traffic signal violations without requiring separate vehicle detection systems or connections to traffic signal cabinets. Equipment Requirements The proposed system must capture from the start of the red phase of the traffic signal. No direct connection into the traffic signal controller or signal detection equipment will be permitted. Additional requirements: Automatically detect and document red-light violations, including video and still images Be capable of capturing a minimum of 4 lanes per approach Minimum 4k pixel resolution with video and still image capability Live view into cameras Include the ability to use auxiliary flash units for capturing violations in low-light conditions Be adaptable for future technology upgrades Allow for easy relocation to new intersections as directed by the City Each image must include the following time-stamped data: Date and time of the violation (recorded in military format) Yellow interval duration (to the nearest 1/10th of a second) All-red interval duration (to the nearest 1/10th of a second) Amount of time between the signal turning red and the time of the violation (to the nearest 1/10th of a second) Vehicle speed
