Awarded Contractor shall provide services, all as set forth in this RFP and more particularly described in this Section 4. The City seeks to contract a vendor to provide an electric train engine, installation and ongoing maintenance support for use with our existing CP Huntington amusement train ride equipment and infrastructure. • Contractor shall provide an electric train engine for use with existing track, gauge, and existing CP Huntington carriages. • Contractor shall confirm full compatibility with existing track, equipment, infrastructure and spare parts. • Contractor shall commission, construct, and deliver one (1) electric train engine. • Contractor shall provide on-site commissioning and training to insure safe operation of the new engine with existing equipment and infrastructure. • Contractor shall provide operations and training documentation for new engine. • Contractor shall provide maintenance manuals and guidelines for new engine. • Contractor shall provide package options for ongoing maintenance and support. • Contractor shall provide support, guidance and information for electrical charging and any infrastructure upgrades (as needed). • Contractor shall provide full three (3) year warranty for new equipment. • Contractor shall provide a speaker/announcement system with train for safety messages, as well as music and announcements. • Contractor shall provide custom color options to match existing equipment. • Contractor shall abide by all federal, city and state laws regarding amusements. • Contractor shall insure equipment complies with current North Carolina Department of Labor rules and regulations regarding amusement rides.
