Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department requests bids for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to supply and deliver the pool chemicals for the Tanglewood Park Aquatic Center. While the intent of this bid is to award a contract to a single vendor for all line items, the County reserves the right to make separate awards to different vendors for one or more line items, to not award one or more line items or to cancel this bid in its entirety without awarding a contract, if it is considered to be most advantageous to the County to do so. Products are to be delivered as follows: ● All materials/supplies shall be delivered on an as needed / placed order basis. ● All materials/supplies shall be delivered within 24 hours of placed order. ● All materials/supplies shall be delivered during the hours of 10:00am and 1:30 pm. ● Vendor shall be responsible for providing method/means (forklift, pallet jack, lift gate, hand truck...etc.) required for unloading all materials/supplies from delivery vehicles. ● Delivery vehicle must be able to access delivery location via 10-foot-wide access road. ● Provide detailed quotes along with delivery surcharges and product quantity pricing based on the below estimated minimum product quantity and delivery schedule for “Peak Operational Season” and “Off Peak season”. Peak Operational Season - approximately 17 weeks Delivery schedule - ***1 weekly delivery*** Estimated Minimum Product Quantity Per Delivery Pulsar Plus (50 lb. plastic pails) - 9 Hydrochloric/Muriatic Acid (1 gal jugs) - 24 Sodium Bicarbonate (50 lb. bags) - 6 Amino Acid Digester (5-gallon pail) – 3 Stabilizer (Granular Cyanuric Acid (25 lb. buckets) – 1 Off Peak Season - approximately 7 months Delivery schedule - ***1 monthly delivery*** Estimated Minimum Product Quantity Per Delivery Pulsar Plus (50 lb. plastic pails) - 8 Hydrochloric/Muriatic Acid (1 gal jugs) - 24 Sodium Bicarbonate (50 lb. bags) - 1 Calcium Chloride Flakes (50 lb. bags) - 1 Amino Acid Digester (5-gallon pail) - 0 In addition to the above estimated regular deliveries, we would need two (2) 100 lb. buckets of Granular Chlorine delivered once per year to last us for the whole season.
