Contractor must carry appropriate licenses as required by the state of North Carolina. Contractor shall have adequate and qualified staff in order to provide WCPSS with the service and/or response time requested. Contractor must be able to handle multiple calls at one time, respond on a 24 hour, 7 day basis, and will be expected to respond to emergency requests within 2 hours. Scope of work includes installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing equipment such as toilets, sinks, water piping, roof leaders, and hot water heaters. Must be knowledgeable of piping schematics and be able to troubleshoot problems relating to these systems. Contractor will have procedures in place for working on these systems and employee training will be kept up to date as per contractors requirements. Contractor will utilize a Lockout/Tagout procedure when working on these systems. Contractor shall be responsible for any required permitting and incidental supplies or hardware in order to perform any job tasks. Any viable parts removed from plumbing equipment during assigned work shall either be reinstalled in the equipment or returned to WCPSS.
