• Total quantity of 45,000 bales of pine straw installed at approximately 190 sites. • Pine straw are to be long leaf straw with good color and no slash. • A minimum of 4 Facilities / Schools must be completed per day. • If the contractor does not meet the minimum number of Facilities / School distribution per day, they will be expected to work after hours and Weekends to remain on schedule. • The contractor will coordinate pine needle distribution with the grass contractor of each Facility / School to ensure that all bushes have been trimmed prior to spreading the pine straw. • Pine straw shall be distributed per the quantities listed on the pine straw per site distribution list. (To be provided by Grounds Supervisor after award) • Distribution shall only be in the front areas of the Facilities / Schools. No pine straw will be distributed along the sides or backs of the Facilities / Schools. • Pine straw shall be tucked in and should not be spread over walkways, curbs etc. • Site should be left clean of all debris. • Report all issues to the attention of the CMS Project Manager Brandon Barnhill as soon as possible. • Inspections by CMS staff may require the contractor to return to tidy up work. • CMS may require additional bales to be installed at some Facilities / Schools. Contractor will perform the additional work as requested on a cost per bale/install basis.
