Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.3.1Design programs to educate participants on how to incorporate physical activities into their daily routines by teaching behavioral skills, including goal setting and self-monitoring, building social support, behavioral reinforcement, structured problem-solving and relapse prevention each week for 20 weeks.4.3.2.Conduct fitness activities at local churches, public parks and recreation centers in zip codes 28206, 28208, 28214, 28216, and 28217 (morning, afternoon and weekends)to teach, promote, and facilitate the following classes at different existing locations throughout the week and weekends: •Chair aerobics (ages 13 and up)•Walking Programs (Ages 13 and up)•Provide nutritional Information 84.3.3.Attend the Village HeartBEAT’s signature events throughout in the Spring as the fitness lead.•Martin Luther King day Parade (January in Uptown Charlotte)•Mecklenburg County Board of County Commissioners meeting (Government center, February)•Family Field Day (Within Mecklenburg County, March)•5K Run (Within Mecklenburg County, April)•Competition Celebration Gala (In the Charlotte city limits, May) •Record participant attendance and report activities on a monthly basis.
