Data Collection and Assessment ● Conduct a comprehensive review of the existing PaTS parking and transportation system related to: campus buses, para-transit vehicles, PaTS infrastructure, pricing structure, utilization rates, and operational practices. ● Gather data on current and projected demand, including user feedback and stakeholder input. ● Assess compliance with ADA accessibility standards and other relevant regulations in relation to changes guided by the 2024 Campus Master Plan. Master Plan Review ● Review the Campus Master Plan to identify goals, benchmarks, and strategic objectives related to parking and transportation, including loss of parking due to new buildings. ● Highlight any discrepancies or areas requiring updates due to changes in demand, policy, or technology. System Analysis ● Analyze parking inventory, turnover rates, and usage patterns. Benchmarking and Comparison ● Compare the current system's performance against Master Plan benchmarks and industry best practices. ● Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or misalignments with the master plan objectives. Recommendations and Reporting ● Propose strategies for aligning the system with the Master Plan, while balancing the department budget and including implementation timelines ● Highlight opportunities for innovation, such as emerging technologies or sustainable practices. ● Create a plan to enhance electric vehicle charging on campus based on the Campus Master Plan. The created plan should include current locations, recommended locations, infrastructure required, cost for installation and maintenance, and recommendations for type of technology. ● Deliver a comprehensive final report, including visual aids (e.g., maps, charts, and diagrams) to support findings. ● Provide actionable recommendations to address the development of a comprehensive TDM program with funding models that support the Campus Master Plan.
