RDU seeks the services of a qualified consultant to evaluate and enhance its parking revenue strategy. The consultant will assess the performance of RDU’s parking portfolio—both historically and in its current state—taking into account changes in lot capacities and service offerings over time. This includes recent developments such as the expansion of parking inventory in Park Economy 3 and the Express Parking Lot, as well as future developments such as the construction of a new ground transportation center (GTC) and the reduction in capacity of the Premier and Central Parking products. The goal is to develop a comprehensive pricing strategy that maximizes total parking revenues while adapting to evolving infrastructure and market dynamics. Additionally, the consultant will develop a dynamic pricing strategy and potentially a pricing tool that can be administered by RDU and respond to real-time market conditions. 2. Objectives • Analyze historical parking usage and revenue data • Evaluate current pricing structures, lot capacities, and customer engagement strategies (e.g., pre-booking) • Identify competitors to RDU parking products and benchmark RDU’s parking products against these competing transportation and parking options. • Recommend optimal pricing strategy and process to maximize both parking usage and total revenue across RDU’s parking portfolio that includes daily, weekly and seasonal trends with the potential to respond to real-time market conditions. • OPTIONAL: Support or lead the development of a dynamic pricing tool, preferably one that can be administered internally by RDU. 3. Scope of Services The consultant shall perform the following tasks: Parking Portfolio Analysis • Review historical parking revenue, usage data, and lot capacities. • Compare historical capacities and offerings to current conditions, noting any changes to performance and revenues: • Expansion of Park Economy 3 • Introduction of Express Parking capacity
