The Professional Development Management System (PDMS) should help WCPSS save time at every level of planning, delivering, and analyzing professional learning. Additionally, WCPSS staff attending PD should have a quick and seamless experience in registering, attending, and giving feedback. Everyone who needs to use the PDMS from district leaders, site leaders, facilitators, and instructional and non-instructional staff, should find it intuitive and easy to use. The PDMS should have a data-driven approach to give insight and drive progress across the board. The PDMS should offer visibility into learning activity at the teacher, building, and district level. Educators, site leaders, and district administrators should be able to track attendance and credits, as well as areas of strengths and needs in instructional practice at the individual, building, and district level. The Office of Professional Learning will manage platform administration, course approval, transcript oversight, and annual review of system effectiveness.
