Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Wake County Public School System’s (WCPSS) Office of Early Learning is seeking proposals from agencies to establish service contracts for the purpose of conducting multi-disciplinary comprehensive preschool evaluations by a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech and Language Pathologist. Multi-disciplinary comprehensive evaluations should include: ● Board licensed Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech Language Pathologist with the appropriate skills, competencies., and experience evaluating preschool children ages 3-5. ● Conduct an in-person comprehensive evaluation that meets the Policies Governing Services for Children with Disabilities criteria. ● Gather background and referral information including family and teacher information. ● Conduct clinical observations and standardized assessments as appropriate. ● Conduct transdisciplinary play-based evaluations as directed. ● Ability and training to conduct evaluations for specialty areas such as the area of autism and sensory processing. ● Interpret results of the evaluation. ● Collaborate with WCPSS staff to standardize report writing practices to support team decision making. ● Provide written reports based on evaluation findings with detailed recommendations and results enabling a team to write an individual educational program for a student with disabilities. ● Must be able to coordinate schedule with Wake County Public School System staff, families, and interpreters.
