1. Discovery - Conduct discovery meetings with BMS and/or Departmental staff to finalize requirements around position model changes from new compensation structure and ways to incorporate future pay increase estimates. - Evaluate current PBCS configuration to determine appropriate implementation method - Evaluate current EPM Automate Scripts to determine if changes are needed PeopleSoft HCM SQL data pulls Deliverable(s): • Design Document - The design document must clearly describe the current PBCS configuration and any changes and/or additions to the current configuration including dimensions, forms, rules, reports, etc. 2. Build - Modify dimensions/metadata to incorporate new compensation structure which will include new job codes, salary plans, salary-based benefits, etc. - Update existing forms for both departmental end users and BMS staff to incorporate positions in the new structure - Evaluate and update rules to automate loading of position actuals through EPM Automate - Evaluate and update forms and rules to account for new compensation structure in supplemental position adds, position transfers, position eliminations, etc. - Add dimensions and rules to budget for Continuous Service Incentive, a new annual bonus based on years of service - Update existing EPM forms and process that loads job codes and their respective salary ranges to account for new structure - Update pay increase calculation forms, rules and data maps to accommodate new structure. - Update any other areas identified in the discovery phase
